Constellation Senshi Task 2: 'You Are Not Alone'

 1. Please show your senshi meeting the Lady of Stars. She can appear however you'd like, such as in a pool of water, or in a different outfit or appearance. A reference of her official form is included below.

 2. Please tell us where your senshi's brooch came from. Did the lady lead you to it? Was it handed down by family? Did you find it in the attic, tell us where it came from! (Keep in mind the originals are from the tablets found millennia ago, and were in the possession of the original Constellation Senshi when they came to live on ancient Earth.

   Story Time

 The Lady had greeted Mary kindly at first, up until she noticed the young woman was not responding to her like most would. That was when she had noticed the state the young senshi-to-be was in. So instead, she shifted her actions from one of greeting to one of comfort, her first priority trying to calm the woman before her. Her heart ached at the knowledge of one of her children in such a state and she yearned to remedy this as soon as possible.

Mariana had been ready to call herself crazy. Or delusional. Hysterical? Any of those words would have worked for the state she was in, and seeing something she knew couldn't be real. And yet the translucent, star-filled figure shifted closer and spoke with a concerned voice. If it had just been a voice, perhaps it wouldn't have soothed Mari as much, but this being before her had a presence to it. To her. It was almost soothing, motherly. The tears slowly stopped as Mari let herself soak up another person's presence and the figure seemed to realize this, as she continued to speak even if Mari wasn't comprehending the words being said yet. It took a little while for the woman to talk and comfort Marianna out of her panic attack, but eventually the Brazilian woman had stopped crying. 

That was when they were allowed to talk together and they spoke of many things, but most importantly, it was about the brooch. It was told how it would help her become a constellation senshi warrior and what that meant. The Lady allowed Mari to then ramble on about how she had found it. It was apparently part of a legend that there was a jewel of immeasurable power being concealed by a group of birds high up in the trees. No one could ever find it, but being the curious and stubborn thing Mariana was she had decided to take the challenge as it was. Oh, she had found the location alright. Only to find that the only way to get there was to jump from a tree next to the location and freefall for a short duration, at the same time covering a wide gap between. Needless to say only those not afraid of 'flying' through the air, could achieve such a thing. Or idiots. Mariana happened to be both at the time. The child had made the jump, though got banged up badly in the process. From there it was just history, finding her way home and trying to explain away everything and keeping her brothers from stealing her brooch.

Soon it came time for them to part though. The lady had other matters to attend, as much as she would have loved to stay with one of her children. Especially one that feared being alone. Her duties were not to be neglected, however, so regretfully she began to vanish, only stopped by a panicked voice. "Don't leave me alone!" It was Mariana, eyes wide, looking ready to cry once more at the thought. As much as she wanted to do more, she couldn't. But she did know that once this child made it to the cloaked world, she would have plenty to keep her company. 

" You are not alone" 

A calming smile was given to Mariana as her form began to fade once more, leaving Mariana in complete silence, and a brooch sat on her bed from their talks. Mariana felt like crying once more, but remembered the smile of The Lady of the Stars. It filled her with resolve, if nothing else than to make it to her side. She may not realize how much she had done, but she had saved Mariana, and the Tucana Senshi would never forget that. One act of kindness, had earned The Lady a forever loyal and devoted companion for as far as her life would allow her to serve. It was this newfound resolve to find her way to where The Lady of the Stars spoke of, that let her last the next day until her friends were able to make it back to the cabin with a rescue team, and they were once more heading home. 

Mariana stared up at the stars and gave a small smile, slowly identifying what constellations she could see and that she knew. "...I'm not alone."
